Meet the Team

  • Dr Amy Kingston

    OCCUPATIONAL HEALTH PHYSICIAN & DIRECTOR

Amy leads the team with a wealth of experience in occupational health and a passion for promoting wellbeing at work. She combines clinical expertise with a practical, people-focused approach to help organisations create healthier, happier workplaces.

    About Amy:

Amy Kingston, founder of Tide Medical, based in Gorleston. After years working across emergency medicine and occupational health, last July Amy decided to take the plunge and launch her own business — and what a journey it’s been!

Tide Medical provides occupational health services to the energy industry across the east of England, helping to keep our region’s workforce healthy, safe, and fit for the future. What started as a small idea has quickly grown into an award-winning local business, proudly employing talented people from our community.

Before Tide, she spent many years in medicine — from working in A&E at the James Paget University Hospital, to supporting businesses across oil, gas, and offshore sectors with medicals, vaccinations, and health surveillance. Like many, her path was shaped by both personal and professional experiences, including time spent in full PPE on the frontlines during the Covid pandemic.

She is now, incredibly excited to be developing something new: a lifestyle medicine and wellbeing programme, designed to help reduce absenteeism and improve health outcomes in the workplace.

In her spare time, Amy enjoys running and travelling — They are her favourite ways to recharge and find inspiration for what’s next.

  • "I had the pleasure of attending one of TIDE Medical’s wellbeing events recently, it was one of the most thoughtful and impactful wellbeing experiences I’ve been part of. The day brought together practical, science-backed support across nutrition, stress regulation, coaching, and mental health awareness — all delivered in a calm, welcoming and genuinely engaging way. It created space for real reflection, and reminded me how important proactive wellbeing work is — both for individuals and for wider organisational culture. We’ve also worked with TIDE through their occupational health services, and their compassionate approach really stands out.
